     Child Rescue is a non-profit organization that aims to combat the commercial sexual exploitation
     of children in North America. The organization has focused on child sex trafficking issues thus far,
     and Cause & Affect’s charge is to focus the mission of the organization, and determine the most
     effective and impactful ways to utilize their resources, eventually building a major movement
     dedicated to the eradication of the commercial sexual exploitation of children, including child sex
     trafficking and pornography, with a measurable, tangible impact.

     What is Human Trafficking?
     Human trafficking is the practice of buying and selling human beings. It is currently the second
     largest criminal industry in the world, netting over $43 billion each year (Bales, 1999). The most
     horrific form of trafficking is child sexual slavery. Every day, children are bought and sold for sex;
     and not just in developing countries. American children fall victim as well: at strip clubs, online,
     via prostitution rings, and in private homes.
